Grab your hat and take a seat

Where to even start? The Christmas lights? Sure, fine, Ok. They were up, then they fell down, then they were half up when they fell down, then they were about three feet up and fell down again. Then there was some swearing and some coffee drinking while plastic clips were called bad names and finally, tonight, there were lights that Stayed Up.

I went with my head last week and not my heart and signed the boys up for the h1n1 shot. I am not sure it was the right thing to do, but it’s done. All I can do now is hope for the best. In the meantime, between the best and now, I absolutely refuse to listen to any horror stories about the shot. Do not send me links, emails or tweets about this happening to that person or that happening to this person. I’m serious.

I’ve been fighting with some chick on eBay. I ordered A, she sent me B. She suggested I buy A and she would them send B to me. I refused. I suggested she send me A while I send her back B. She refused. She suggested I send back B and she would, eventually, refund my money. Now we are to the point where we are arguing about what the term “full refund” means.

We got a call a few weeks back saying that Logan had an appointment on the 24th of December with the allergy doc. Christmas Eve is a rather sucky date for someone to get allergy tests done, what with all the inevitable scratching and itching that will be done following the test. This morning we got a call saying there had been a cancellation and that Logan could come in the next morning at 8:15. I took the appointment immediately.

It wasn’t until this evening that I realized why there was a cancellation. The appointment is for 8:15. AM. As in morning. As in 8:15 in the morning we have an appointment that is not taking place under my covers, but in the city. Where there are no pillows OR blankets. Also. I will have to be awake to drive to the city, Sleep driving is frowned on in Canada.

Sad, I know.

Annnnnnnd. I just realized, again, that I have to get up at oh-dark-thirty so I need to log off and go to bed.

After I set the coffee pot to autoperk!

Shit.On.A.Stick! I just got a ticket to see an advanced screening of New moon!

TEAM EDWARD!
