This made me LOLz. (go read it)

But it also made me wonder what else a carrier pigeon is faster than.

• Canada Post. A carrier pidgeon can cover 160km a day. It takes Canada post about four days to mail a letter from my house to my fathers home. A distance of 63.0 km.
• A carrier pigeon is faster than a melting glacier, even the Kangerdlugssuaq in Greenland, which is the fastest melting glacier in the world. (Glacier meltage : 0.038km a day vrs. Pigeon deliveries : 160km a day.)
• Me. But I can’t fly. If I were allowed to tape some kind of plastic and/or foam wings to my car and make flying noises while driving, I believe I could beat the bird.

In other non pigeon related news. Logan had his very first day of Kindergarten today. The kindergarten mascot is “Clifford, the Big Red Dog” and the children were asked to make, with red paper, glue, scissors and googly eyes, Clifford.

In Logan’s defense, she never specifically told them NOT to make Clifford into  a zombie*.

It’s going to be an interesting year.
