And Then

So I had a bad evening, and I’m not in the proper frame of mind to discuss it calmly yet, so I’m gonna try and push it to the back of my mind. Cross your fingers for me.

We went to a wedding this past weekend. It was wicked fun, mostly because we got to see peopel we haven’t een in five or more years. We all made promises to keep in touch better, but who knows how that will go. Life tends to get in the way of a lot of things.

Anyway. Getting married is kind of stressfull, what with all the planning and shit. Then of course the day before you have to decorate the hall and do the rehearsal. The day of, the bride is busy getting ready for the big day. Hair and make up appointments, last minute dress fittings and shit, so imagine, if you can, how crazy a bride has to be to decided to make her own wedding cake!

And yet, the bride of the wedding we went to did just that, AND she did an amazing job!

I know that there were pictures of Micah and myself taken at the wedding but none of them are on facebook yet, so you will just have to imagine how fucking amazing I looked!

LOL

Just kidding.

Remember this dress? And the fact that I frost bit my nipples so they are super duper sensitive to cold? Yeah. It was fucking FREEEEEZING that whole day. I lost count of how many people I stabbed to death with my  nipples. It wasn’t pretty.

  4. @Sheila – I tried fondant once, making Micah a cake, but that stuff is hard to work with. She took classes and stuff, but still. I think it would be way too much stress for me. She also made adorable bride and groom cookies as the wedding favors too.

    @Peggy – It was nine degrees that day. (Celsius) it’s sixteen today. It sucks
