I relize that we have been home from our vacation for a while, so this post is going to seem oddly placed, but I happen to be suffering from an affliction called ‘Dontgiveadamnitis”. Don’t worry, it’s not life threatening.

AHNYway. When I go somewhere with the kids it’s hard to pack. No, that’s a lie. The paking is easy, it’s the living out of a suitcase that’s hard. I have three boys who wear similar clothing to the point that most laundry days – the ones that I actually FOLD clothes, which doesn’t happen often- I end up making the boy stand in a line so I can measure pants on them to see whose pile the item goes in.  Even more of a challenge, Parker cannot fit Logan’s clothes, but can fit Some of Blake’s shirts. Blake can fit a lot of Logan’s clothing as well as Parker’s clothing, so long as there is a handy belt. Logan is fine in either his clothes or Blakes.

So it all boils down to me not knowing who fits what, and when you are in a strange environment, trying to get three kids dressed, not knowing what is clean and what is dirty and who fits what which day with no coffee in your system, it made for a very bitchy me.

Something had to change.

Check it.

The suitcase. Anything not in a bag is dirty.

Each bag has a complete matching outfit, including underwear. The bags are labled with their names.

Simple. Handy. And the best part? It prevents clothing mishaps like this one*:
