*crickets*

It’s been kind of quiet around these parts. If you need someone to blame, don’t blame me, Blame Sheila.  See, Sheila has Power of Blog over here and can post anydamntime she wants. AND SHE NEVER DID. Bad Sheila!

Or! You can blame Micah! Micah is a good one to blame ‘cus he’s the one who stayed home all day to play with me instead of going to that job thing he has. What a jerk, eh? Keeping me entertained to the point I had no energy or will power left to blog. I Swear to Blog, there were times I would cry and beg for him to let me blog, just one sentence, I would plead, but noooooooo! He wanted to Play wii with me (I kicked his ass) , and go for coffee, and take me to movies all sorts of things that kept me off line.

So yeah. Don’t blame me, Blame THEM.

And anyway. Do you think, like my father does, that it is horribly wrong and rotten and nasty and completely OUT OF THE GODDAMN QUESTION for me to take my three year old niece – with BOTH her parents blessing- to get her ears pierced? To be totally upfront, I’m going to do it no matter what you think, but still. Dad’s preeeety upset.

Discuss.

And also feel free to blame Micah and Sheila.

And also also…I’m Baaaaccck!

  7. It’s up to the parent if they want the baby’s ears pierced. 3 should be a good age, I did my daughters at 3.

That whole rumor of getting an infant’s pierced & then they’ll just be used to earrings & leave them alone? That’s bullshit. Once the baby turned about 1 year old, she started pulling her earrings out. A few of them we never found. Her mommy kept putting new earrings in. Then we discovered her chewing on the earring she had pulled out. We think she swallowed at least 3 of them.

  8. @sudobeer – Awwwe! thanks!

@robin – I agree! She will look adorable!

@Carrie – Her parents dont let her have a lot of candy, Im going to bring a big lollipop and some pop rocks with me, that will help take her mind off it!

@Kristi – Sorry, MY dad thinks its horrible, danny said I can do it..

@annie – I always worried cus babies are so uncoordinated, what if they tug on it by accident? at three she isn’t old enough to clean them every day while they heal, but she is old enough to understand and let her mom clean them!
