I cannot help but notice that my feelings are the exact opposite as the subjects of my pictures, and having noticed that, I have to wonder…what does that say about me?

I Was Going to Blog, Until I Thought About It

So right now I am in the tub. The water is nice and hot and just creeping over the tops of my thighs.

Just before I got my stuff ready for the bath I thought to myself, Self, wouldn’t it be funny to post “Instead of blogging tonight, I’m having a bath, how’s THAT for excitement!!?!!”

Then I thought about the amount of work it takes to blog on the iTouch. First of all. I have to log in, click “I’m a retard and don’t know my password, be a dear and send me a new one”. Then I have to close the net and open my email to reassure Wordpress that I did indeed request the change. Doing so sends me back online. Once more I have to close the net and open my email.

And this part is really hard. We don’t keep pencils or pens in our washroom so I am forced to scribble my new password, which is approximately eighty digits long comprised of numbers, letters and animal silhouettes, onto my bathroom wall using, what else? Bubble bath solution.

So I’ve decided that as much fun as it would have been to write that I am wet and naked and therefore not blogging, it’s just too much of a hassle.

You will all just have to find a way to get through today without your daily dose of me!

We all have “stupid” days, Mine Just last (for) four days!

SO. Four days ago, on eBay, I bought these two outfits for Logan, for his Build A Bear, Fluffy.

jammiepilot

Pajamas’s because right now Fluffy is either sleeping naked *GASP!* or in a pair of Logan’s underoos. And the pilot set because there was a discount on shipping so why the hell not, eh?

I emailed the seller, choff66213 and told him that all of my (many) (MANY) eBay purchases (manymanymany) had been bought using the handy dandy “pay now” button you get when you have successfully (many!) used the Buy Now button. I use buy now because I don’t have time for auctions, AND I never ever win them anyway! So I emailed him asking how I pay for the two items and still get my nifty Shipping Discount.

Choff66213 replied, pretty much immediately, that I should purchase the items I want and then to wait and he would send me an invoice with the corrected shipping amount.

Cooli-O. So I bought both outfits and clicked over to my email. No invoice. I twittered that eBay was evil and kept making me spend money, then I facebooked the same thing. Then I clicked over to my email – no invoice, but there were some funny comments about my facebook status.

I lol’d.

I went for a smoke, came back inside and checked my email and found my invoice waiting for me. I clicked on the email so that I could pay it. I have to pay right away or I forget that I haven’t paid and then things just get very confusing for me.

Here was my invoice. (I use Gmail)

So I clicked all over that fucker, and read the thing three four, maybe five times, then I hit REPLY and sent an email explaining that I was sorry to be a dummy, but how in the hell do I pay this? Where do I click? HALP!

That was my first mistake. That email ended up in the back roads of the internet hooking for gas money to get home. You cannot reply to eBay messages, there is a special button that you have to use to reply that ensures the message gets to the seller. I of course, was not aware of this, remember, I’d only ever used the Buy Now option combined with thee nifty pay Now button. I spent a bit of time checking the eBay FAQ but saw nothing that would help me so I sat back to await Choff66213’s response.

Not surprisingly, I did not get a response, I assume this is because my original email was ugly and filled with typos and thus unable to get any money for gas so poor Choff66213 never got it. Instead, tonight I got another email and a politely worded note reminding me that the auction had ended four days ago and my items would be shipped as soon as payment was received.

SO. I logged into eBay and located the item and clicked “Ask a seller a Question“. Instead of asking a question, I explained that I was a dummy of the first class and had no idea how to actually pay for the goods I wanted, HALP! Choff66213 then emailed himself the invoice so he could take a look at it and replied to me,(the bold is mine) “There should be a “Pay now” button right at the top of the invoice”. And Oh My God, the lights turned on angels sang and it began raining unicorns.

I went back to the  invoice, clicked on it, and guess what I saw?

And as soon as you click the Display images link?

Yeah. So there you go. I wasted four days of his time (and mine) because I am an idiot. But what really gets me? After I paid the invoice (finally) Choff66213 replied to me with this :

No problem! I have had that happen too and I get so frustrated trying to figure out what is wrong! I will mail your package tomorrow. Thanks for being so nice and have a great rest of the week!

Chris

On that note. Logan is now insisting that Fluffy needs this duck housecoat, and his birthday is one month from today (June 27th) so knock yourself out!

Oh What-a-Whir?

So. I’ve been feeling somewhat self conscious and weird about blogging lately, and it is all my fault. In the past little while I have freely given over my blog’s URL to people I know in real life. And not family type people, either.

Other Mothers.

Yeah. Heavy.

For example. My next door neighbor has been reading my archives. She reminded me of this video which I had nearly forgotten about!

(video cannot be seen from Google Reader for some reason)

Other than two years worth of blogging without spell check, I have nothing I am ashamed of in my archives, but it’s..Iuno. Weird… I think, because I cannot remember rightly what happened way back when, so unless I sit down and re read my archives, I’m never going to be really sure of what she, and other people are reading.

A HUGE part of me wants to go back and clean up those posts. It would take a LOT of time, but at least them I wouldn’t be embarrassed of all the typos and et el. Another part of me wants to delete the majority of the more “stupid” posts. And fix the ones I wrote in fancy shmancy colors (at the time I had a black background on BPR, when I got this template, the background changed, but the old post font colors did not, and it looks nasty.) And then a whole other part of me thinks that going back and “fixing” things is wrong.

What do you think?

So…(Long Post, Get Coffee. Bring Me Some While You Are Up)

First I want to thank everyone who commented on my last post. My sister has decided to begin Hemo Dialysis. her start date was to be Monday, but the doctors have postponed putting the line into her chest, so that date may also be postponed.

*relieved sigh*

This weekend was longish. And weird.

It began on Thursday night when Logan, My absolutely NOT evil Step Mother, and I went to Build a Bear. It began Thursday because the children had no school Friday and any day the children are home with me is a weekend in my eyes.

Logan had a hell of a time at BAB. He went immediately for the most expensive stuffed animal they had and it took a while to talk him into the 15 dollar puppy while still making it seem like the dog was *his* choice. After he chose his dog, the attendant helped him stuff it and fluff it and then sent us tot he dressing room to try on Puppy Sized clothes. At first, Logan just started grabbing everything for his dog. Little boxers, tiny tee shirts and shorts, sandals, a skate board and sun glasses, but we explained that his puppy only needed one outfit and he settled on the BatMan set. He was actually pretty set on the police uniform until I took it down for him to see and he realized it did not come with a gun. LOLz.

Logan was bound and determined his new best friend NEEDED the tiny dog bed to sleep in, but I was just as determined that I was not paying 21.00 for it. We compromised by buying little black plastic boots for Fluffy. (that would be his dog’s name). In all, he got the dog, one outfit, socks and an optional beating heart. The total came to 53.60. FOR A STUFFED ANIMAL.

HOWever. I am finding it easy to ignore the cost because Logan and Fluffy have been inseparable since Thursday. Also I might have gone on eBay and spent an additional 21.47 on a pilots outfit and a flannel pajamas with fuzzy dog slippers set. (fluffy has been sleeping in a pair of Logans underwear due to his shocking lack of night wear)

On Saturday we had two football games with Parker’s team. They lost the first game, spectacularaly, but Blake found an empty birds egg so that was gross nice. During the second game, (both were played in different towns/cities, neither of which was the one we reside in) I had to take Blake to the mall, missing half of the game, because he had to go to the washroom. While I was gone, a mini..thing. Tornado? Whirlwind? Who knows, but,  this thing tore through the play ground and the field, picking up play books, chairs and even a foot ball and carried it to the extreme opposite end of the park before dropping it. Also, Had I thought to bring my camera, I would have gotten a few kick ass pictures of planes because the field is, I guess, close to the airport and the planes were flying super.freaking.low. I did not remember my camera. Because I am stupid. And forgetful.

Sunday was all about fooling around, doing nothing. It rained, but it was a beautiful warm rain, it was lovely.

And that about brings you up to speed, doesn’t it?

Oh wait. no. One more thing.

Tonight on Twitter, Jlynn, from Oh My Jen and Naturally Beautiful Photography introduced me to Coffee Shop Actions, a website absolutely stuffed with completely free PS actions.  Like I said to Jlynn on twitter:
