A very large portion of the population has been having trouble with Mother Nature in the past few weeks, soooooo……

Lets play How cold IS it!

Yesterday it was -54 with the windchill – or so I’ve heard. I did not leave my house at all yesterday. My father in law told me that they even canceled church over the weather. I think that canceling church over a few digits in the minus is the WRONG thing to do. If I was offered right now a choice between burning in hell and scraping my car windows, I know what I would pick!

Anyway. Let me show you how cold it has been, then you can do the same either by telling me in the comments or on your blog!

First up, the weather forecast for the next week. (These temps are just the temperature, and do not include any windchill additions)

Ahh well, at least Princess Fuzzy Butt is keeping warm!

  3. We had a wind chill of -15 in Missouri yesterday (-26 for you). Our high that day was +8 (-13). I’m sure you’d be thrilled with those temperatures, but… I’m not.

    I think y’all should move further south.

  5. It was a cold 50 degrees here yesterday, but today should be in the 70s. I like living somewhere that my front door doesn’t freeze.

  7. Ooo! I love this game! Since I live in one of the coldest places I’ve ever lived in my life for the last 5 years! Before that I had only been in single digit temperatures 3 times in my life.

    Right now it’s 9:00 am and it’s -2* F. Yesterday was 9*, but now it’s supposed to warm up to about 25* and seriously, that’s a huge difference. My heat won’t come on every 20 minutes. Maybe every 30 minutes.

    Speaking of which, do you pay a fortune to heat your house or what?

  9. Thank God Dad never took us fishing in Canada in the winter!!!! What’s Quebec like in February? We’re going skiing there for a few days. PLEASE tell me it’s at least 0*–F or C I don’t care which!
