How do I take a Squishing your head picture? I know there are a lot of camera happy peeps out there. I want to smoosh heads, On film digital? Film, but I don’t want them to look like this:
With flash, there is light behind me and behind him, on auto
Without flash, Same lighting as before, again on auto and zoomed in a bit
This time I slapped it onto Macro in hopes of making my fingers not so blurry, Instead I turned them into Ghosts. Until Now, I had no idea I was dead.
So. what do I do?

My Pussy Likes the Dark
I never consciously decided to ditch BPR over Christmas, It just happened. I spent my nights with hubs, often on the laptop, fooling around on face book or twitter, but just wasn’t in the mood to try and find something to post. Several times over the past few days, I’ve thought, I should Blog That, but never did, and you know what? That’s OK.
Just like it’s OK that I decided to put my cameras away and watch with my own eyes, for once, the boys enjoying Christmas. Sure I regret not having Blakes face on Camera when he opened the one gift he’s “always” wanted, And I regret not taking a picture of the anatomically correct sock monkey we gave my dad, But I do not regret that I haven’t spent hours on Photo shop lightening this and sharpening that, nor do I regret that my hands were empty and ready to help when Logan had trouble with tape on Christmas morning.
It was a good Christmas. The boys had fun, I got oodles of Very Nice Stuff – minus the undies from my inlaws of course! We got to spend time with both sides of the family, we ate great food and had a lot of laughs. (and yet, as much fin as we had, I am still happy that it’s done and over with!)
In other news, we went shopping.
On Boxing Day, we all piled into the car to brave the malls. I desperately wanted to get us matching Christmas Stockings. We couldn’t find them anywhere (we went back today and found them, they rock. They are also packed away for next year so If you want to see them, you will have to wait another three hundred odd days) On boxing day we did manage to find and take advantage of a few good deals. We got a DVD player for 39 dollars, and best yet, a corner computer desk for 68.
I know that the old adage is “You get what you pay for“, But goddammit! I expect manufactures to supply the screws AND the threads! I expect the pre drilled homes in piece A to match up to piece B. I do not like to spend two hours swearing and straining to make this piece fit that, and then to finally give the fuck up on said piece becuase it has fallen apart! ZOMG.

I guess what I am trying to say is two fold.
1. If you are heading to Wal-Mart, do NOT buy this Select Editions Corner Computer desk, Unless of course you are looking for a good reason to fight with spouse, becuase you will swear at each other and you will fight, all in the name of trying to get this stupid thing to line up and JUST FIT WITHOUT BREAKING, OMG!

2. Wal-Mart – send me another Part C, RIGHT NOW, because the one in the box fell apart and is resting against the goddamn wall instead of being screwed in where it belongs to STABILIZE the goddamn desk!
Sigh.

I’m trying to write this with the itouch, from the comfort of my bathtub while soaking in blackberry and vanilla goodness. The blackberry vanilla yummyness was an early Xmas gift from bff kissy. She has to work over the holidays. 
After my bath I will crawl into the fuzzy wuzzy pajamas I got from my inlaws tonight. They also got me panties, and let me tell you, even after nearly 10 years of marriage, it still kinda freaks me out wwhen they buy me underwear!!
Hubs is watching the star trek marathon right now, which is all kinds of suckage. The gifts have all been wrapped and the stocking stuffers are ready to be stuuffed, so we can comfortably sit on our asses knowing that it will only take 10 minutes to set up Christmas for the boys. Oh look the itouch is giving me low battery warnings now. I better go.

Yesterday it was -54 with the windchill – or so I’ve heard. I did not leave my house at all yesterday. My father in law told me that they even canceled church over the weather. I think that canceling church over a few digits in the minus is the WRONG thing to do. If I was offered right now a choice between burning in hell and scraping my car windows, I know what I would pick!
Anyway. Let me show you how cold it has been, then you can do the same either by telling me in the comments or on your blog!

Hubs likes to bring a bit of Holiday cheer every year to his workplace. Here are the cookies he is bringing this year:

It is very late here, past midnight, so I will forgo posting pictures of the actual decorating, (I will slap them up on facebook tomorrow). Here are the four designs we made. (And yes, we did make these last year, but just for family)
I fully expect to be contacted by several lawyers before the new Year.
