Come on baby, Light my fire!

So, first off, Hubs is on Vacation so I am taking a blogcation. I’m not saying I won’t be posting, but I’m not saying I will be posting!

Anyway. Hubs and I will be married nine years on Wednesday. So I got him a little present. I gave it to him tonight becuase I just couldn’t wait any longer. I am NOT a fan of waiting. For anything.

It’s a zippo lighter, and I got in engraved too!

The engraving is kind of hard to see, but it says “Come on Baby, light my Fire” Hubs used to call me from work (back when he worked at a craptacular place) when that song came on the radio, and we say it to each other when we need a light for our cigarette. I thought it was fitting becuase, ya know, its on a lighter?

Anyway. Another reason this is a pretty cool gift is wayyyy back in whatever, I got him a sweet little zippo for his very first fathers day. I had that engraved too, that one said “I heart daddy”.

Here the two zippo’s are together.

Yea. You saw that right. Thats one fucking big lighter!

  6. Is the big lighter small enough to fit into his pocket? Is it the regular sized Zippo lighter?

    My dad had a Zippo. In fact, I got him one, too, and had it engraved. I don’t remember with what. I love Zippos because the sound and smell of them remind me of my dad.
