Honestly, the way I flatiron the hair in the back is that I put my hair up, and then pull out one piece at a time so I don’t miss any pieces. Takes fucking forever, but it works.

Lemmee see, I would think you could teach the older 2 boys to do your hair FOR you. Unless you’re opposed to them becoming hair dressers or something.

My friend’s husband helps her color her hair and even helped her do the frost kit thing, where you put on the plastic cap and pull the hairs through that you want to highlight. He did an excellent job!

I looked at Lovely Wife’s technique, and I think the key to iron/flat the back part of your hair is to make a funny squished-up face in the mirror. That or get Favorite Hubby to do it for you, which is totally not gay.
