Proud Momma Moment

This was Blake Last September, on his very first day of school. In the past ten months Blake has learned to count to 100 (over and over and over again, to the point I am sure my ears will bleed with one  more number repitition) and to sing his ABC’s. He has learned to pronounce words the correct way - for the most part. He has made many friends and gone on his first “not with Mom there” play date. He has grown eight centimeters, but not gained an ounce. He has learned about staying “Hy-dra-gen-ated” In the summer time, and that if you bleed lots you will die. He can write his name and read short books.

He has not, however, mastered the art of looking at the fucking camera when I want to take a GODDAMN PICTURE!

  4. I’m 29 years old and have not yet mastered the art of looking at the camera when I am being photographed.

    I have, however, mastered the art of blinking at the exact time the shutter closes, and I didn’t even try. :wink:

  11. Congrats Blake - mine just graduated k-garten too! I remember that counting to 100 was a goal but I haven’t heard much around the house. For us, it was more about his schedule.

  12. I’m pretty sure he knows exactly how to look directly at the fucking camera, he just doesn’t do it because he knows it will piss you off. Kids are bastards that way.

  19. um have i mentioned i hate wireless keyboard skipping letters and such at a most important time…that was supposed to be many wonders but cause the keyboard wasnt pointed at in the right direction or precicly at the right angle it came out all wrong nods
