I was wondering. Should the sky look like this? ‘Cus. This is odd. Really Odd.
And Dark. But. With Rainbows.
And also? How do you take a non-grainy photo when there is little light? Anyone?

I love the rainbows, though.
The color is so bright and brilliant.

Ramp up the ISO if you can and open the lens all the way. If that doesn’t work, change the shutter speed (but you might need a tripod).

It’s hard not to take a grainy picture with low light without using a long shutter speed and then you’ll end up with a blurry picture if you’re not using a tripod.

In low light, pump up the ISO, and if I remember right, I used to have a camera like yours, you can also “+” or “-” the…I think it’s the “exposure compensation”?
“+” it by, hmm, try 1.0 or around there, in daylight.
If all else fails lengthen the sutter speed and use a steady tripod.

Yeah, so like 3 people already said this, but up your film speed (ISO) and/or shutter speed, but you have to be SUPER steady or it’ll blur.

@Rachael -Yea, It does, I just wish it was clearer.
@Sheila – It was a whole rainbow too! you could see both ends – of the brighter one, the second rainbow you couldnt see the other side.
@Bucky – What is a pink flyod?
@Fantastagirl – Welcome back! I hope your vacation was a blast!!
@Shelli – Yea, we do not see them that often here.
@Trishk – Yup. A little rain came before and a little more followed.
@Finn – *writing notes* Thanks!
@Karen – LOL join the club! Auto shoot should just *know* what i want it to do!
@Avitable –
Thanks! Hubs took it though!
@Jen – Ugg. me and tripods, we just do not get along.
@annie – *Writing more notes.* I really ought to have the tripod dug out of the back of the closet and put somewhere accessible…
@Tug – Thanks!
@Auntie P – If you go to my face book June Part Two photos you can see the rest of the rainbow pictures, It started off relatively normal, but by the time we finished taking pictures it was even darker than this!

@phinz – And yet, the weather was normalish – other than the rain!
@Lexi – Thanks! Although… the more people who tell me, the better chance it has of sticking in my brain!
