Pointless Bullets*

I am So tired of the weather right now, and I feel SO guilty complaining about it because So many other people are dealing with floods and tornadoes and etc. But dammit! Its mid June, is ONE NICE DAY too much to ask for? Is it?

I have been growing my nails out for a few weeks now, and they look great. Except they are now *too* long, and every time I try to file, cut or trim them *just a little bit* I screw up in one way or another and end up cutting them off completely.

I am bound and determined to wake up tomorrow so that Hubs can sleep in. It’s Fathers Day. I suck So bad at getting up, and not becuase I stay up too late, I just..need ..sleep. But tomorrow? I am getting up. I swear! Not like the other year when I screamed at him to deal with the freaking kids while I went back to sleep, and forgot it was fathers day at all - until I called my dad to wish HIM one.. I So suck.

I’m waiting on a recipe to be e-mailed to me from my Stepmother - not the evil variety - I want to make puffed wheat squares, I love them so, but do not have the recipe. Her arm is broken rather badly, so she is going to wait until she can get someone to type it out for her – totally understandable!

I am hoping to find Super Swing Golf for the Wii on eBay. We rented it, and it goes back tomorrow, and it was SO MUCH FUN! I hated the part where I lost every freaking time, but I loved the part where we all gathered as a family and played it :o ).

Speaking of Ebay – I simply cannot understand how some sellers feel it is OK to charge 21 dollars to mail a game. Uhm, hello? We are in the same country. Its a tiny package! WTF?

  4. I’m sure the folks in Yuma, Arizona would be glad to send you some warm. It was 120-freakin’-fahrenheit-degrees there today when my parents were driving through there.(don’t know what that is in Canadian-type temperature readings, except too hot!)

    pee ess again – I’m making lasagna for the hubby for Father’s Day, so he better let me sleep in until I’m good and ready to get up and start cooking. The kids are in charge of breakfast.

  5. ummm blue you are sooo freaking bad at remebering things like fathers day and mothers day and your fathers b-day that ill do as all good sisters should do and sweetly call you at 6am in the morn and remind you…muahahahaha i know how much you just love your morning sis “laughs evilly” bujt hey what are sisters for after all i mean if not to remind the 2nd born that its fathers day lol love ya

  10. We here in sunny warm So. CA send you heat and sunlight with our best regards (so no kicking MY ass either) (altho if you could just trim a pound or 10 off the sides . . .)

    Hubby’s daughter is coming over later to cook dinner for us–VERY nice. So he’s sweeping off the pool decks while I clean overdue science experiments out of the fridge. I think I found the cure for cancer in there . . .

    Will call my dad in Ohio later and explain that his FD gift IS in the mail–I hit the wrong delivery method on Harry & David so his goodies won’t get there til after the holiday (d’oh! Apparently you’re not the only one who sucks at these things, so don’t beat yourself up too much).
