A Few Odds and Ends

  • A slew of storms and tornadoes are rampaging across the US right now. Shelli, Britt, Lucy, Fantastagirl, Nobody- you are in my thoughts. And Sheila? Keep in mind what I said about tweeting if you suddenly begin levitating due to high winds.
    • I recently Twittere’d “This just in : I want a wii. Which is odd, becuase I HATE with a fiery red passion all gaming related things. I feel so shamed” and it’s true. Our next Paid Blogging funded purchase will be a Wii. Hubs has been bugging me since they came out that we need one, and I have refused. Now, In a very odd turn of events, I want one. Damn you Wii Fit. Damn you to hell!
      • Send good thoughts my way. In the AM I will be heading to my MIL’s house to help her bake snacks for FIL to take on his bear hunting trip. MIL is very anti tattoo. And by Very, what I mean is I am now damned to burn in hell for eternity and by virtue of relation, so are my children. Sigh.
        • Although. If the swelling goes down just a wee bit more I am sure i can wear a log sleeved shirt without too much discomfort.
          • Speaking of discomfort, having bacon grease splatter on a brand new tattoo equals the exact opposite “damn this feels good”. Bacon is evil. Bacon is also one of the reasons I need a Wii.
            • I need someone to explain how to put the latest blogging sensation “Whoopra” onto my blog. And by someone, I obviously mean Nobody.
              • My book suddenly got interesting and I really need to go sit down and read it now.

                4. I want a wii really bad too! Hub says no:( boo. Tell your MIL that the when the bible talks about not getting tattoos that it was because back then all the pagans got tattoos representing their pagan gods, and so God said no getting tats. Well, if you’re not a pagan and your not worshiping your tattoo or whatever your tat is, then you’re perfectly alright:)

                11. One of the good things about marrying a man 25 years older is that my MIL went to her reward before we met. One of the bad things is my stepdaughter. Actually, she IS the bad thing.
                  I’d rather have an MIL than an SD any day.
