This morning I woke up at 9:17, exactly seventeen minutes after I had specifically asked to be woke up. I won’t say that I was mad about it, but I will admit to still being pissed off. Take that how you will. Today, you see, was a very important day - at least - to me!
Living out of the city, I always have trouble timing things out so that I will be where I need to be - on time. Being on time to me is very, very important. I have waited an extra two hours in a doctors waiting room just to ensure I was on time for my appointment.
In any case, I know some of you are curious, and others don’t really give a damn, but this is what I did today.
(and yes, I am a total bitch by putting it beyond the fold. Lets all deal with it, mmk?)

If you guessed “I bet Bluepaintred got a new tattoo today” you would be absolutely correct! I spent a little over an hour with Mike from Tantrix BodyArt - and started a new tattoo. In August - or something, I will go back and Mike will put the color in. We only did shades of black because even Big Bad Tattoo Dudes are required to attend children’s birthday parties (or face the wrath of their wives)!
And yes, this stupid plastic wrap bandage thing is the most annoying thing on earth. I can say that with some certainty, having lived with my husband for almost ten years!

@Sheila - the back ground, what you see now, will be filled in in a light pink, making it much lighter than it is now, and the flower will be really bright greens and pinks and stuff. I wasn’t really paying attention to him as he talked, truth be told, i trust his decision.

I don’t have a major life decision to get a tattoo on the horizon, toooo many oooother thiiiiings going on, but this continues to be in the back of my mind. Although, if I get a tattoo on my lower arm I think Dawg’s mom might disown me.
