Three things

Spring break for my kids started at 3PM today and they do not go back until the 30th. The weather is supposed to be nice, so I do not foresee any major complications.

For the past five days Blue Boy has been ill. He wakes up with a fever, a half hour after he has tylonol he is fine for about three hours then his fever comes back. Other than the fever, nothing else seems to bother him – though when the fever hits him, all he wants to do is crawl up on the couch and lay there.  How high can I let his fever go without medicating him? Five days of Tylenol every four hours cannot be good for him.

We were all playing with Smokey this evening. At one point my mouth was open and her tongue, the same one she uses to lick her ass and located conveniently in the mouth she uses to eat cat shit, touched my tongue. I have brushed my teeth nine million times and swished with Listerine the same amount but I swear I can still taste her ass.

  2. Has he been to the doctor?…sounds like it could be an early ear infection…..which sometimes clear up on their own (Big J’s had like, 25 ear infections, all before he was one).

An ER nurse once told me to give Tylenol and Advil together. You could ask about that….

    And on the dog, yucks.

  4. I would take Blue Boy to the Dr.

Smokey loves you…she would never lick her ass then kiss you. She licked the cats ass then kissed you.

  6. My rule is: No meds under about 101 degrees Farenheit. My little one usual doesn’t run fever more than a day or two. He may be fighting something off.

You know your son. If he’s prone to infections, etc., go to the doc. If not, give it a few more days and see what happens if the fever’s the only thing wrong.

  8. @Sheila – Dunno. I thought I hap lesbian potential, but it turns out, I’m just not into Bitches.

@Lexi – The dog thing is gross, as for BB, our doctor has a two week wait list except in an emergency, and i don’t think his fever is at that point. If I take him to a clinic it will be at least an eight hour trip. This morning he woke up hot, but not too hot..

@Winter – lol. how long did your fever last?

@trishk – Its a huge hassle to take him, and with nothing more than a fever i do not want to take up space in the ER when someone else might need it more.

both cat and dog ass are equally disgusting to me!

@Mr. Fabulous – If you think thats hot, try picturing me and Wally in bed

@Finn – He is rather sickly, to be truthful, he gets every cold and flu out there, but his temperature isn’t too high today so I am letting it be for now, fevers are there for a reason, so i want to wait and see if letting his fever run its course will help. he is not too pleased with me right now.

@Metalmom – You made me LOL IRL!

  10. It’s okay to give him tylenol, but remember that the fever is the body’s way of fighting whatever it is that is plauging it. So don’t fret if it gets high unless he has a history of fever seizures. Also, it is normal for them to be kind of wiped out when it is higher.

  11. My daughter was suffering from the same ailments you describe here. The doctor put her on an antibiotic (she was having runny nose and sore throat as well) and she was running around in a few days.
