My #1 had a dental history.. teeth removed when 3, and has such great adult teeth. Bottles and sippy cups are disaster to teeth (especially falling asleep with a bottle) but many first time moms don't know this until it's too late. So my #2 had her bottle yanked and her sippy cup catapulted into file #13 terribly early... and had no baby teeth trouble yet has a horrendous time with her adult teeth. #3 is in the middle of the road category. Moral is... there are lots of explanations that can mean you don't suck. Isn't it a sad part of being a mom that makes us feel like everything that goes wrong or doesn't happen perfectly = we suck? Kudos to RM. He has the cape now, he can fly. I think you should be proud of the progress you made with RM. He should be proud of the progress he's made with the dentist.
