My computer “desk” is my kitchen counter. See those brown packages on the counter? Tug, Rich? Those are your not yet mailed out Prizes. MetalMom? Yours is in the sewing room un-adressed becuase I lost your address..I know, I’m bad. OH! and you can see all the paint! Excitement!
We do have this desk like thingy, But its just for the phone and the cords and sometimes my coffee.
See? Lots of stupid cords. Why does a “wireless” computer need so many cords anyway?
Anyway. I wanted to be, and now I am. Job well done. Someone pat my back for me! Maybe a gold star?

I have a bunch of wires behind my computer too…..even with a wireless mouse….your kitchen is soooooo clean looking….what ya gonna paint?

Sheila Oh good! you noticed the linkage! I had hoped you would! As for the laundry, I have a full hamper to wash and dry, but the rest of it got washed dried, folded AND put away in time for school to start. I did not want to be digging through a laundry heap in the morning, It is already a rushed time!

I still contend that if you had your own desk, it would be untidy. You just seem like that type of person.

My desk is a perpetual mess. I did post a picture of it clean once. It stayed that way for two weeks.

It’s all a big conspiracy. I worked for a place that was considered to be “paperless” - we had more paper in that office AFTER we went paperless than we did before we went paperless. Wireless just means MORE cords! LOL.

Wireless is just a fantasy… I’m wireless, yet my laptop battery never holds a charge - so I’m still plugged into the wall.
I want an office as well - but am afraid it would just be a place to put stuff when I don’t know what to do with it.

My workstation is right next to our dining table even though we have fitted out a nice home office upstairs. This is because I need to keep an eye on my kids (and an ear open as well).
