Cat Fight

*Yawn*
Your wee dainty paws
kept me up all night long. Jerk
Claws clicking on floors

*Meow*
Bathe me in a tub?
Soapy bubbles in my fur!!
This is my revenge

*Shock*
The dingle-berries
clinging tightly to your bum
said it was bath time!

*Hiss*
I will scratch you up!
I will hiss and cry sadly!
Leave my bum alone!!

*Sigh*
Please, just sleep at night
That’s all I am asking you
Im so sleepy, cat.

*Purr*
My job then, is done.
I will run and play all night

This is a poem I dreamed up one night while trying to fall asleep. Unfortunatly the cat keeps finding bits of lego and peices of paper to kill. Then there are the blinds behing the bed. Why do cats hate blinds anyway? Past life crimes maybe. And she needed the bath, it wasnt just revenge!

  3. Tug Ever since we laid the wood flooring i have to listen to her running and sliding and the scritch scratching of claws. it gets tiring!

  8. I totally can relate! We have a bookcase head board on our bed and our cat likes to sit up there and then just after I fall asleep, she jumps down on my head and scares the shit out of me.

    tug When we trimmed our last cats claws, tehy always split and they looked sooo painful, so we aren’t going to bother. I suppose in a year or ten, she will get too old to annoy us at night.

  10. Our cat is very annoying at night too, mostly digs his claws into my head, eyes, ears…damn cat, although I am greatful I don’t have wood floors to listen to the annoying clicking

  11. Mars likes to sleep on my pillow with me. It gets pretty crowded, but it isn’t as bad as Tuxie rattling the mini blinds all night until I get up and raise enough she can sit on the window sill and look out. Somehow Spouse Guy sleeps through it all.

  12. coffee Mom Tigger was worse as a kitten, about faces, but now she doesnt do that so much

  14. my little fucker…I mean, cat, likes to wait until about 1/2 hour after I lay down to sleep at night - then JUST as I’m dozing, he likes to stick his whiskers in my face and tickle the hell out of me. it.drives.me.batty.

  16. Yeah, BJ one morning left dingle-berries by the bed where I put my feet in the morning when I get out of bed. And rite where I put my foot before I get into the shower and where I put my foot down after I put on new socks in the morning.
